All Software Engineering students at LUT, enrolled in the following programs, are welcome to become members:
- Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering
- Master's Degree in Software Engineering
- Master's Degree in Cybersecurity
Your membership will last until you gradute from LUT University. All guild members are entitled to receive software student overalls.
Members can also join our annual general meetings and run for board and officer positions. You will also gain access to our primary communication channels through the "SoSA ry" and "LUT Lahti" Telegram groups.
Membership benefits
SoSA arranges excursions to other universities, companies, and cities, offering our members various networking opportunities. These events provide valuable insights into the software industry and help our members connect with the Finnish tech sector.
Additionally, members are eligible for discounted event tickets and exclusive patches for their overalls. Being part of the guild allows members to get their own student overalls, which are an essential part of student life and teekkari culture in Finland.
